BARTOLOMEO is a powerful motion study about four different women. It takes the expression in the form of gestures and body percussion, culminating in a crescendo of flour. It is humorous, unpredictable, strong and challenging.

Between 2012 - 2013 BARTOLOMEO was on tour with RIKSTEATERN and NORRLANDSOPERAN, performing over 100 shows in Sweden. In 2014 Mari produced an independent world tour performing at festivals such as; APAP New York / CHILDREN FESTIVAL Belfast / FESTIVAL TEATRALIA Madrid / SWOP FESTIVAL Roskilde / CONTEMPORARY DANCE FESTIVAL Amman & Ramallah / RICCA RICCA FESTIVAL Okinawa & Tokyo / BRAVO FESTIVAL Helsinki / DIFFERENT THEATRE FOR CHILDREN FESTIVAL Vilnius / TANZEIT ZEI TANZ Chur.

BARTOLOMEO won the PRIX D'ASSITEJ SWEDEN 2013, which is given to theatre groups, organizations or individuals for special efforts within Performing Art for Children and Young People.

In the summer 2017 Mari and her dancers performed the piece again at UBUMUNTU ARTS FESTIVAL in Kigali and did a special performance at UNGA KLARA supported by Stockholm Stad and The Swedish Arts Grants Committee.
