BLACK FOREST is a journey about taking a risk and stepping into the unknown. With this piece Carrasco explores an intense movement material and the opposition of running towards or running away from something. BLACK FOREST is made for NORRDANS and the music is written by the incredible and world renowned composer Mikael Karlsson.

BLACK FOREST has, since the premiere in 2016, been performed all over Sweden and toured to Switzerland. During the fall of 2018 the piece got selected to tour with Dansnät Sverige/Dancenet Sweden and selected to Scenkonstbiennalen/Swedish Biennial for Performing Arts 2019.
